Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is an innovative methodology and a process for facilitating positive change in organizations, groups, communities (Cooperrider, Srivastva, 1987). This approach has been successfully implemented worldwide management, the non-profit sector, health care, education, community development other fields. Problem- solving gets replaced with innovation by identifying core that gives life to organisation, group, or when it vital, effective, successful. The concept based on heliotropic principle: people move toward those things give them energy life. AI starts from inquiry of inner values individual his/her images future motivate drive him/her towards affirmations visions future. paper considers possibilities implementation field which not applied so far: victims' support programmes. first part presents principles, methodology, phases AI.
